On Saturday, April 11th @ 7pm, we will be holding our Annual Fundraiser,
The Taste of Granite Bay(TOGB).
Besides it being the only fundraiser the club has, what does the night entail?
The Taste of Granite Bay event is an adult evening of tasting cuisine from local restaurants, vineyards, and breweries. There's music, raffle prizes, silent auction, and lots of fun. We are always looking for new food vendors to participate in the event.
If you know a business that's interested in participating, please have them contact Lauren Dillabaugh, the TOGB coordinator. Of course, we will accept any raffle donations.
Tickets Go On Sale Soon!!
Tickets to the event can be purchased from our rugby players. Each player will be required to sell a minimum of 4 tickets. Cost per ticket: $25.

USA Coach and Manager Andy Katoa has agreed to coach Granite Bay rugby for the 2014 and 2015 season. Andy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from playing football for the San Diego Chargers to playing rugby for the USA rugby team, to coaching and managing the USA Eagle 7's program. Andy is now coaching the Tonga National team and will be arriving in late November to start training the boys.
Also joining Andy this year are Sean Wanigasekera and Tyler Gagon. Sean was Captain of the Sri Lanka National team before heading to New Zealand to play rugby. Sean played at Central Washington before retiring and moving into coaching.
Tyler played 8 in Belgium 1st division for 3 years while serving in the Air Force in Europe. His playing experience has made his skills highly sought after as he still plays rugby today but "gives back" by coaching in his free time away from the Air Force.
